RFIDSome people are willing to do almost anything to have the latest technological wonders.  This man claims to have had an RFID chip surgically implanted in his left hand.  RFID stands for radio frequency identification.  An RFID chip is a kind of electronic circuit that responds to a radio signal by sending out its own identifying signal.  Now when the man waves his hand in front of certain reader devices, the chip within it will emit a signal uniquely identifying him.  His intention is to first equip his car's door lock with the reader and then the exterior doors of his house.  Once his leading-edge plan is fully implemented, he will be the only one able to unlock the doors in his life, and he will do it all with a wave of his hand.  Larger pictures can be found here.
