SHORT TAKE for that Quick Break:


The Shrode Report has found several unreliable stock brokers who think this is a good time to buy stocks. Gypsy Nick was sent to investigate.

Gypsy Nick reports that while the TV news guys say the sky is falling, the real insiders say that this is the free market correcting itself. Gypsy Nick thinks that the market fall was manipulated so financiers could buy the stock at lower prices, driving up the price and then they can sell it again, creating excitement, and causing people to watch the news more.

Gypsy Nick thinks the Network News guys may be behind this. Their rating are jumping. However on source reports that this is all done on a stage in New Jersey, and everything is really alright. If so it would be the world's record holder for a practical joke.

The Shrode Report thinks they ought to divide up the 700 billion bailout money between the gypsies and the pirates and see if they can run the economy any better.

Gypsy Nick says he will call his Washington contacts and see if he can influence such an idea. The other theory is to enslave the stock brokers and give one to every poor family to do the housework.
